Decision (ERO) on the Feed-In Tariff for the Generation of Electricity from Renewable Sources

In November 2019, the Energy Regulatory Office issued the Decision on the Feed-in Tariff for the Generation of Electricity from Renewable Sources. The feed-in tariff in the scope of the decision applies to installed generation capacities with new or zero operation equipment, as well as solar/photovoltaic panel equipment which must be recyclable. The decision sets the feed-in tariff for the generation of electricity from solar / photovoltaic panels for 20 MW targets, according to AI no. 05/2017 on Renewable Energy Targets. As to cases where the capacity is higher than the exempted targets, the Decision through clause XIII provides that “in case the applicant has a Preliminary Authorization Decision for higher than exempted targets, the applicant shall have the right to request that the Preliminary Authorization Decision to Final Authorization be modified/amended in such a way as to guarantee the right to exempt targets, while the remaining capacity may continue to be “pending” at the request of the applicant.”
